Welcome to our blog for Ted’s Woodshop, a spot where we will post updates about Ted’s newest woodturning creations and projects.
Ted is a woodturner and craftsman who specializes in one-of-a-kind items of “functional art” designed to be used and enjoyed every day.
Our business is located in Homer, Alaska, which is known for its active arts community … and fishing! We are members of Ptarmigan Arts, Homer’s local artist-owned cooperative, where Ted’s work is on display and available for sale. During the summer season our items are also available in several shops on the Homer Spit, and during the holiday season we have a presence at the annual Homer Nutcracker Faire and the Kenai Arts and Crafts Fair.
Ted is available to do special orders or custom woodworking upon request. If you see an item in our Store that you would like to have modified (perhaps made larger or smaller, or using different woods), please feel free to contact us.
