This beautiful bowl is of the type known as a Dizzy Bowl.  Dizzy Bowls are segmented bowls that are constructed from a series of rings, each containing an increasing number of pieces of wood.  The careful positioning of each ring produced the pattern that appears in the finished bowl.

The colors in this bowl brought to mind a bright autumn day at harvest time.

The wall thickness of this bowl is 1/4″ or less.

Be sure to check out our Blog for an article and photos explaining the construction technique used to create this type of bowl.

The woods used in this bowl are bubinga, maple, walnut, and SpectraPly, which is a hardwood laminate formed from layers of pigmented birch veneer.

Dimensions:  11-1/2″ at the top, 5-1/4″ tall, and 3-1/8″ at the base.

The bowl is finished with multiple coats of a durable Danish oil, waxed and buffed to a satin sheen.

Use and Care Instructions:  Dust and fingerprints can be removed with a soft cloth.  Do not use the bowl to contain anything that retains moisture.
