Pacific Halibut Trivet -- Original Design by Ted
Out of Stock -- But Back Soon!
The Pacific halibut is a flat fish with both eyes on one side of the body. True to this form, the trivet has eyes only on the top side.
In a meticulous and time-consuming process, over 120 grooves are individually cut in the ¼”-thick interlocking pieces that form the body of the fish. Ted uses a bandsaw and drum sander to shape the head and tail sections, followed by hand finish work.
The trivet is protected with multiple coats of a durable penetrating oil finish.
Dimensions: 15″ long, 7″ wide, and 3/4″ tall.
Use and Care Instructions: Crafted to last a lifetime, the trivet can be wiped clean with a damp cloth and dried with a soft towel. Do not put in dishwasher or immerse in water.
