This beautiful bowl is of the type known as a Dizzy Bowl.  Dizzy Bowls are segmented bowls that are constructed from the base up from a series of rings.   For this bowl, Ted made 17 rings, each containing an increasing number of pieces of wood.  The wall thickness of this bowl is 1/4 of an inch.

The woods used in this bowl are maple, walnut, dyed veneer, and Ember Glow SpectraPly, which is a hardwood laminate formed from layers of pigmented birch veneer.

Dimensions:  11-1/2″ top diameter, 3-3/4″ at the base, and 4-1/2″ tall.

The bowl is finished with multiple coats of durable Danish oil, topped with several coats of a gloss polyurethane finish.

Use and Care Instructions:  Dust and fingerprints can be removed with a soft cloth.  Do not use the bowl to contain anything that retains moisture.
