Bolivian Rosewood and Maple Salt and Pepper Shaker Set
This set is made of beautiful Bolivian rosewood (also known as morado, pau ferro, or santos rosewood) and maple. Strips of the contrasting woods were cut, laminated together, then re-cut into rectangular turning blocks. Working without a pattern, Ted hand-turned each shaker so that they matched in size and shape.
The shakers are fashioned with plastic salt and pepper inserts topped with a chrome cap. The salt shaker cap has a single hole; the pepper shaker has four. The shakers refill from the top. Simply unscrew the cap to refill.
Each set is finished with multiple coats of a durable penetrating Danish oil, buffed and waxed to a satin luster.
Dimensions: 5½” tall, 2″ wide at base of each shaker.
Use and Care Instructions: Wipe clean with a damp cloth and dry with a soft towel.
