I used a wine bottle as a pattern for this 12-inch pepper mill.  It is a 7/8 scale.  The bottle is made from an excellent piece of figured hard maple. The faux corkscrew top is made from Stratabond (a composite) and figured hard maple.

The mill is finished with multiple coats of a durable polyurethane finish, hand-sanded between coats to produce a glossy sheen.

The premium-grade grinding mechanism is designed to last a lifetime but can be replaced if ever needed.

Dimensions:  12-1/2″ tall, 3″ wide.

To fill the pepper mill, turn the top screw to separate the upper and lower sections.  To adjust the coarseness of the grind, turn the top screw.

Use and Care Instructions:  Fingerprints and smudges can be wiped clean with a damp cloth.  Dry with a soft towel.
