It isn’t too late to put in a holiday gift order with Ted’s Woodshop. This site’s Store section offers a wide variety of Ted Heuer’s hand-crafted functional turned works of art.
Our Store is organized by category. Because the inventory changes frequently, the best place to start is in the New Items section.
A Few Gift Ideas on the New Items Page
We try to get orders filled and mailed the same day that we receive them. We ship by USPS Priority Mail, with each package insured to cover loss or damage of the contents.
We don’t want you to pay any more for shipping than you have to. If you place multiple items in your shopping cart, each with its own shipping fee, you may end up paying more than you should for shipping. We’ll do our best to combine items into one box, as that will definitely save on your shipping costs. If the amount that you are billed for shipping exceeds our cost for shipping your parcel(s) to you, we’ll fix that by refunding to you the excess shipping charges. It’s an easy and secure process, and the refund will go right back to your credit card or PayPal account.
Once your order is shipped, we will send you a notice containing the USPS tracking number. Most orders will reach their destination in two or three days.
If an order is damaged in shipping, we’ll make it right. Save the packing materials, though, until we can work through the insurance claim process with the Postal Service.
We want you to be completely happy with your Ted’s Woodshop purchases. We do have a 10-day return policy. If you need to return an item, contact us. More information about our shipping and return policy is found here.
If you see something that you like in the Store that is marked “Sold” feel free to contact us about placing a special order. All of Ted’s items are individually crafted, one at a time. With the exception of the Homer Fish Trivets, for which he uses a pattern, every item is one-of-a-kind. There is no mass production, no duplication, no automated or laser-guided turning involved. Special orders take a bit more time to produce because we might need to order a specific type of wood or other materials for the project, but we welcome the opportunity to work with you on special requests.
